    Open your download

    Click Download Windows above. Find the VIZRO STUDIO .exe in your Downloads folder, then double-click it.

    If SmartScreen appears

    For an unrecognized app warning only: verify the source and file first. If you trust this exact installer, choose More info → Run anyway, when available. “Unknown publisher” means the publisher is not verified.

    Install. Open. Sign in.

    Follow Setup, choose your folder, then Install → Finish. Open VIZRO STUDIO from the desktop or Start menu. After the opening animation, sign in.

No “Run anyway” option, or a malware/Smart App Control block? Stop and contact your IT administrator or support. Keep Windows protections enabled. You can use the Web App instead.

Choose your Mac. Drag into place.

    Choose Intel or Apple Silicon

    About This Mac: Apple M-series chip uses Apple Silicon; Intel processor uses the Intel download.View larger ↗

    Open Apple menu → About This Mac. If Chip shows Apple M1, M2 or later, choose Apple Silicon. If Processor shows Intel, choose Intel.

    Drag into Applications

    Drag the VIZRO STUDIO app icon to the Applications folder inside the DMG.View larger ↗

    Open the downloaded .dmg. Drag VIZRO STUDIO → Applications. Open the app from Applications; you can eject the disk image afterwards.

    If the developer is unverified

    First try opening the app. Only if you trust its source and have verified the file: go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, when available. Confirm Open and authenticate if macOS asks.

“Will damage your computer”, “malware” or “app is damaged”? Do not override the alert. Stop and contact support. An organization-managed Mac may require IT approval.

PREFER A BROWSER INSTALL?

Meet the Web App.

The same online Studio, in its own app window. No Windows EXE or Mac DMG to run.

  1. Open this page in Chrome/Edge on Windows or Android, or Safari on iPhone/iPad.
  2. On iPhone/iPad, choose Share → Add to Home Screen. On supported desktop/Android browsers, choose Install Web App above. If no prompt appears, use the browser menu: Install page as app or a similarly named option.
  3. Open VIZRO STUDIO from your desktop/app list and sign in.

Music may need a Start click. For folder saving, grant permission on each PC and select an already mounted network folder. Automatic SMB mapping requires the desktop app.

WHEN SOMETHING LOOKS DIFFERENT

A warning? Here’s the next step.

My browser says the download is unsafe or blocked.

Do not force an unsafe download or disable browser protection. Check that you started from vizro.in and that the installer link belongs to our published release. If the browser reports malware, stop. Contact support with the warning text, or use the Web App.

How can I check the file before opening it?

Use the official download link and compare the downloaded file’s SHA-256 with the matching release checksum. For the currently linked desktop v1.0.26 prerelease, use the release page below. If you received a custom or newer build, request its matching checksum from support. A matching hash checks file integrity; it is not an OS signing certificate or a malware guarantee.

Why does it say “Unknown publisher” or “developer cannot be verified”?

The current desktop release is not signed/notarized with recognized Windows/Apple publisher credentials. GitHub hosting does not change that. Only proceed if you have verified and trust the exact file. If you are unsure, choose the Web App or ask support.

Where are the official Windows and Mac instructions?

Follow the guidance for your OS version. This guide does not require turning off antivirus, SmartScreen or Gatekeeper.
